Petiole Pro is the technology that simplifies plant phenotyping. We’re on a mission to optimize agricultural productivity and sustainability.

When we started Petiole in 2015 with our first mobile application for leaf area measurement, we got huge inspiration when our idea was listed among the finalists of GIST Tech I Competition and featured by the American business channel CNBC. Later we collected massive feedback from our users and in early 2021 we developed an advanced solution for plant traits measurements.

Petiole Pro is a smartphone-based, edge computing, state-of-art platform to meet the objectives of ongoing plant breeding research and in-field phenotyping. We host and develop all possible valuable Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms, which can be reused for plant research in real time without Internet connection. Leaf area/indices measurements, fruit and seeds counting, chlorophyll measurements and more for agriculture production and research.

Our ultimate goal is to alleviate the plant phenotyping bottleneck and bring trusted, accurate and affordable digital tools to agricultural research.
